Fish fry part of Jonquilfest
By submitted, 03/11/19 1:27 PMWASHINGTON – The Washington Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a fish fry on Saturday, March 16 as part of the 51st Annual Jonquil Festival. The event will be from 4pm to 6pm. Cost of a meal will be $12 per plate. All funds raised will go to help the Washington Volunteer Fire Department in helping purchase fire safety equipment and supplies to help protect the community of Washington and surrounding area of Hempstead County. Come out and attend the Jonquil Festival and support a local Hempstead County fire department and receive an evening meal.
