Day 2 of Jonquil Festival a Big Hit!
By Staff, 03/16/19 8:14 PMThe weather was perfect for the second day of the Jonquil Festival. The sunshine brought people from all over the ArkLaTex to the Historic Washington State Park. The beautiful yellow jonquils were in full bloom for the festival and were a photo op for many of the days visitors. Vendors had crafts from dolls, wood works, paintings, along with other various handmade crafts. The blacksmith shop had numerous demonstrations going on. The park also gave their regular tours of the homesteads that are located within the park. The Jonquil Star Karaoke Contest was held and the winner got to open up for Buddy Jewell who took the stage at 7:00.
