By Submitted, 03/26/19 10:38 PM

The Hope Kiwanis Club heard from the President of the Hope/Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday March 26th. Clay Lance told the club about the upcoming Annual Meeting of the Chamber set for April 6th at Hempstead Hall. The banquet part of the meeting is completely sold out but there are still seats available for the program in Hempstead Hall. Lance said there are about 400 general admission seats still available for the event which will feature as keynote speaker former President Bill Clinton. Those tickets must be purchased in advance through Hempstead Hall.
Lance said the Chamber will conduct a Silent Auction on Facebook this year instead of at the annual meeting and banquet. A separate auction page on Facebook named HopeHempstead County Chamber Auction will be used. That page can also be accessed for rules and procedures for bidding. The auction will begin on Friday, March 29 at 4:00 PM and will conclude on Monday, April 1 at 4:00 PM.
