Cattle Receipts: 872 Last week: 1541 Last year: 1180
Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 4.00 higher. Feeder heifers
unevenly steady. Slaughter cows 2.00-4.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 3.00 lower.
Supply included 493 feeder calves, 180 yearlings, 20 replacement cows, 141
slaughter cows; 38 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 45 percent
English and English crosses; 35 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 20 percent
Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 58 percent steers and
bulls; 42 percent heifers. Near 14 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
