Kiwanis pancake supper well attended

PRESCOTT – Prescott Junior High School’s cafeteria was hopping Friday night for the Kiwanis Club’s annual pancake supper.

Members of the club took over the kitchen and serving lines, cooking flapjacks, baking bacon instead of frying it, and making sure there was plenty for the servers. Most patrons opted for takeout, but also stopped to give at least a good once-over of the items available in the silent auction. This year’s items included three drones, a small smoker, portable heater, and gift certificates.

Money raised from the fundraiser will be used to fund the club’s local activities and scholarships.
