Bradford charged with possession

HOPE – On Thursday, April 11, at approximately 4:13 p.m., 8th North task force agents, Hempstead County Deputies and Hope Police Arrested James Earl Bradford, 59, of Texarkana, Arkansas near the 1200 block of Laurel Street, also known as Vander Lloyd apartments, in Hope, Hempstead County, Arkansas.

Bradford was arrested after an investigation into the sale and distribution of Narcotics by the 8th North Task Force. Bradford was charged with possession with purpose to deliver cocaine, possession with purpose to deliver marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Agents seized three bags of marijuana, a digital scale, three bags of crack cocaine, and approximately $4,000 in U.S. Currency.  Bradford, who is on parole, was booked into the Hempstead County Detention Facility for the above charges. He appeared before 8th North Circuit Judge Randy Wright Friday Judge Wright denied bond for Bradford. He will be held in the Hempstead County Jail until he next court date.
