Hope Church of Christ trip
Over 75 people from the Hope church of Christ traveled to Dallas this past weekend for an annual LTC (Leadership Training for Christ) Convention. Throughout the year each participant worked on numerous events that promote leadership skills. Some of these events include: Speech, Song Leading, Chorus, Puppets, Service, Teaching, Bible Bowl, Bible Reading, Outreach, and Daily Devotion among several others.
The young people that participated this year include: Chayden Breeding, Jaylee Breeding, Mazie Bright, Violet Bright, Jake Brinkman, Lyla Brinkman, Madilyn Brinkman, Lexie Chambless, Ty Clark, Caleb Clayton, Haley Clayton, Levi Clayton, Elizabeth Dillard, Landon Dougan, Lane Fleming, Ella Flowers, Joshua Fox, Michael Fox, Rebekah Fulton, Kyle Gibson, Trevor Gibson, Kail Gilbert, Kelsey Harris, Calvin Haynes, Maggie Haynes, Benjamin Martin, Maverick Mills, Alyssa Porter, Cami Porter, Knighley Porter, Chandler Smith, Jessie Vickers, and Tucker Vickers.
A banquet will be held in their honor following the 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening worship service on Sunday, April 28th. A meal will be provided along with an explanation of the program and an awards presentation.
LTC is a program open to 3rd – 12th graders. This is the church’s 17th year to participate in this program and they have seen many young people grow in Bible knowledge and leadership skills as the result of their involvement. The Hope church of Christ invites you to come to their assemblies. They meet on Sundays for Bible Study at 9:00 a.m. and Worship Services at 9:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. There is a Mid-Week Bible Study on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. Their meeting place is on Rocky Mound Road off Highway 67 East across from Sav-a-lot and Dollar General.
