Cattle Receipts: 1208 Last week: 882 Last year: 904
Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 4.00 lower. Feeder heifers
unevenly steady. Slaughter cows 2.00-4.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 3.00-4.00
higher.
Supply included 707 feeder calves, 315 yearlings, 30 replacement cows, 133
slaughter cows; 23 slaughter bulls. Feeder supply consisted of 44 percent
English and English crosses; 32 percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 24 percent
Brahman and Brahman crosses. Feeder supply included 51 percent steers and
bulls; 49 percent heifers. Near 18 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
