This week’s Arkansas Military Veterans’ Hall of Fame feature is Herbert Jack Lloyd of Hope.
Herbert Jack Lloyd was an Army Airborne Ranger who served in positions from Squad J Fader to Assistant Division Com­mander. His combat service includes the Dominican Republic intervention and three tours in Vietnam.
His awards include two Silver Stars, three Bronze Stars, the Soldiers Medal, three Purple Hearts and the Army Commendation Medal for Valor.
Lloyd was inducted into the Arkansas Military Veterans Hall of Fame in November 2012.
