Edmonds Speaks To Hempstead County Retired Teachers

The Hempstead County Retired Teachers welcomed Hope native and historian Revis Edmonds of the Arkansas Department of Heritage for the program at their meeting Monday May 13th. Edmonds presented a program on the programs of the Old State House and the myths and misconceptions around Arkansas’s Reconstruction Governor, Powell Clayton. Edmonds’ progam, as always, was well-recieved. He’s shown here with Georgia Estes of the Retired Teachers Asssociation.
