Hempstead County Historical Meeting Tuesday May 28, 2019

The Hempstead County Historical Society will be holding a meeting on Tuesday evening May 28, 2019 at the Presbyterian Church in Washington, Arkansas at 7pm. Everyone is welcome. The guest speaker for the evening will be society member, Jim Hunter, director of the Klipsch Museum. Along with his museum responsibilities he enjoys collecting older glass bottles and glassware. He will speak on the history and identification of different glass bottle pieces from the 19th century and will bring some samples for display. If you have an older glass bottle at home you would like to be identified, bring it to the meeting for him to examine.
The Historical Society seeks to bring awareness to the rich heritage and history of Hempstead County. Come and share your history with us.
