No losers at EDO tourney – Hope Prescott

PRESCOTT – There were no losers at Thursday’s Annual Prescott-Nevada County Economic Development Office Golf Tournament at the Prescott Country Club.

While some teams didn’t fare as well as other on the links, everyone had fun and enjoyed a day on the golf course. The morning flight, featuring seven teams, had it rough as the course was wet, which kept the balls from rolling after landing. Both flights had issues with puddles on the course as the recent heavy rains left the course soggy, and, in some areas, impassable.

The course was drier for those 14 teams playing during the afternoon, but those teams had to contend with 90 degree heat and high humidity. Still, no one complained as there were cold drinks on different holes around the course.

Everyone also enjoyed brisket from Lotta Bull BBQ for the evening meal. Following dinner, the winners were named and awards handed out. Drawings were done for door prizes as well.
