PRESCOTT – On April 26, at approximately 9:33 p.m. Deputy Bo Morris made a traffic stop on U.S. 67 South. During the stop both occupants of the vehicle identified as James Mckenzie and Linda Rose were arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia (meth) and were transported to the Nevada County Detention Facility.
April 28, Deputy Bo Morris and K-9 Deputy Jeremy Hendrix acting under the 8th North Task Force made a traffic stop on a passenger vehicle on Highway 332. During the stop the driver identified as Reed Hill was placed under arrest for felon in possession of a firearm. Hill was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility.
May 4, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Deputy Bo Morris made a traffic stop on a passenger vehicle on US 278 for speeding. During the stop Deputy Morris located a controlled substance. Driver Kendra Holliman was placed under arrest for misdemeanor drug possession and was transported to the Nevada County Detention facility.
May 24, at approximately 6:20 p.m. Deputy Bo Morris made a traffic stop on Hwy 19 North. The stop was made due to the vehicle traveling left of center. During the stop driver Justin Martin was cited for driving on a suspended drivers’ license. Passenger Mitchel Knighten was found to be in possession of a controlled substance believed to be methamphetamine. Knighten was transported to the Nevada County Detention Facility.
May 26, at approximately 4:12 p.m. Deputy Bo Morris made a traffic stop on US 371 and US 278 in Rosston for speeding. During the stop Deputy Morris located a controlled substance inside the vehicle. The driver, Delores Fowler, was placed under arrested for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and was transported to the Nevada County Detention Facility.
