Master Gardeners give museum facelift
PRESCOTT – The Nevada County Depot and Museum received a $2,500 grant from the Arkansas Small Museum Grant Program in 2018. With that grant the Museum proposed to replace the elevation signs, add a flag pole and landscape the grounds. The Nevada County Master Gardeners recently completed the task of doing the landscaping and did a fantastic job. With all these things having been done the Museum looks so very inviting to visitors to our community. With the elevation signs replaced, flag pole in place and landscaping finished the grant is completed. This program was made possible in part by a grant from the Department of Arkansas Heritage, funded by your 1/8 cent conservation tax, Amendment 75. Thank you to the Arkansas Small Museum Grant Program for awarding the Nevada Co. Depot and Museum the grant. Stop by and see for yourself the new landscaping and visit the Museum while you’re here.
