Washington Farmer’s Market open again this Saturday

WASHINGTON 0 The Old Washington Farmers’ Market will be open from 8am to Noon this Saturday, June 29. The market is located behind Washington City Hall across from Williams Tavern Restaurant in Washington, Arkansas. Come out and support your local farmers and get locally grown produce.

Vendors at the market include:  Arnold Farm of DeAnn with limited tomatoes, new potatoes, onions, garlic, peppers, and English cucumbers and sweet crunchy salad cucumbers;  Silvey Farm of Bodcaw with cucumbers, kale, okra, green tomatoes, green beans, jellies and zucchini bread.  Aunt Fern of Ozan with her famous fried pies.  Come out early to get your first picks of produce for it will go fast.  Be sure to also sign up for the giveaway basket. You don’t have to be present to win.
