Farmers Bank and Trust Ribbon Cutting
The Hope Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Farmers Bank and Trust, on Tuesday July 9. After selling their previous building to Hempstead County for be the new downtown location for the courthouse the bank began construction of the new bank site in July 2018. The bank opened the doors to the new branch located at 201 East 3rd Street in Hope on June 24.
Mark Ross was the City representative present “believing in hope and letting us stay here and support Hope Arkansas.” Paul Ball gave thanks to Hempstead County, the City of Hope, First Baptist Church, along with the team of contractors. He went along to say that they are here because of and for the customers. Ball introduced Chris Gosnell, CEO of Farmers Bank and Trust, who stated that “this signifies our investment in Hope, this is who we are, where we want to be”
While touring the new bank, guests enjoyed food catered by Sheba’s Family Restaurant, and sipped coffee and hot chocolate from the Starbucks like coffee machine that they have at the bank.
