HPD makes two arrests

HOPE – On July, at approximately 1:21pm, officers arrested Lauren M Scott, 31, of Ozan, and charged her with domestic battery 2^nd degree, terroristic threatening 1^st degree, and criminal mischief 1^st degree.  This arrest resulted from an altercation that occurred in the 500 block of Caney Creek Drive in Hope, Arkansas earlier the same day.  Scott was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility where she was held for a 1^st appearance. 

On July 7, at approximately 2:54pm, officers arrested Spencer A. Collins, 20, of Hope and charged him with driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance-prescription drugs, and minor in possession of alcohol.  This incident occurred in the 700 block of East 3^rd Street, in Hope.  Collins was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility where he was held for a 1^st appearance.
