Rehearsals underway for STAR theater

HOPE – Rehearsals for the Southwest Arkansas Arts Council annual STAR Academy, a theater workshop featuring Chris Espinoza, a Dallas-based playwright and director, are being held this week.
Thirty would-be thespians will be cast today for an original play “Trouble Blooms at Ruby Rose Ranch.” The only public performance will be at 6 p.m. Friday, July 26 at Hempstead Hall at the UAHT campus in Hope.
The performance is free: Donations to continue this and other arts programs are appreciated.
