Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Helps Hope In Action
When the Hope In Action pantries started running low recently, Director Mrs. Mae Dulaney happened to mention her situation to her grand daughter, Tabitha Palmer of Friendship. Palmer’s church, Friendship Missionary Baptist, has it’s own food pantry but also helps out others in the Clark and Hot Spring County area. After hearing about Hope In Action’s empty shelves, the youth of the church began gathering food. They brought the donations, nearly 200 items, to Hope In Action Monday. Mrs. Dulaney says she still needs food but this donation will help tide her over. Joining Palmer, Mrs. Dulaney, and Rebecca Martinez in the photo are 5th and 6th grade Sunday School Class members Oween Floriana, Jillian Martinez, Zane Talbert, Carly Martinez, Dalton Martineze, and Elijah Shearin.
