President of Lions International Enjoys A Slice of the Good Life

The President of Lions Internationa, Dr. Choi of Korea, visited Araknsas on August 5th and 6th.  Dr. Choi visited  World Services for the Blind in Little Rock and brought an LCIF grant to replace their air conditioning.  While he was in Little Rock, Lions James and Claudia Griffin got to meet him.  They took Hope Watermelons provided by the city of Hope and Watermelon Festival t-shirts donated by the Hope/Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce.  The Griffins said Dr. Choi greatly enjoyed the gifts and that the CEO of World Services for the Blind said the watermelon was so good she’d like to move to Hope!
