Trio arrested by HPD

HOPE – On August 30, 2019, at approximately 12:20pm, officers of the Hope Police Department and Agents of the 8th North Task Force conducted a search warrant in the 600 block of South Elm Street in Hope, AR.  S- Decovan Muldrew, of Hope, was arrested and charged him with four counts of delivery of methamphetamine, possession with purpose to deliver cocaine, possession with purpose to deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, use of another person’s property to facilitate certain crimes, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of firearms by certain persons, possession of control substance near certain facilities, and maintaining drug premises. Muldrew was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On August 31, 2019, at approximately 5:26am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Janelle Lewis, 28, of Hope AR and charged her with domestic battery in the 2nd degree and endangering the welfare of a minor 1st degree. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of East 3rd Street in Hope, Arkansas. Lewis was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On September 2, 219, at approximately 4:16am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Beyonce’ Nelson, 20, of Hope AR and charged her with possession of controlled substance, speeding, no headlights, expired vehicle tags, tinted windows, driving under the influence, refusal to submit BAC, driving on suspending driver’s license, and no insurance. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of East 3rd Street in Hope, Arkansas. Nelson was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
