Health fair well attended
PRESCOTT – Saturday’s health fair was well attended as residents visited the Spot Youth Center for various health screenings.
Bounce houses and a basketball goal were set up outside, but few took advantage because of the excessive heat. On the other hand, people lined up to get their blood pressure checked, along with having their balance tested. STD and HIV tests were also given, as were glucose and prostate checks.
Some of the patrons had fun testing out the “drunk” goggles. They tried to walk a straight line, toss and catch a ball.
A gospel concert was held at the Sports Arena at Prescott High School Saturday night.
