HPD arrests two

HOPE – On September 6, at approximately 10:21pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Jeffery L. Booker, 32, of Hope, and charged him with kidnapping, battery in the 2^nd degree, terroristic threatening 1^st degree, possession of firearms by certain persons, and engaging in violent criminal group activity.  The arrest occurred in the 200 block of West 15^th Street, in Hope, AR. Booker was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On September ^7, at approximately 8:30pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Ramone Martin, 31, of Bryant AR and charged him with possession with purpose to deliver schedule1, possession with purpose to deliver to schedule 3, and possession with purpose to deliver -marijuana.  The arrest occurred in the 500 block of West Avenue A in Hope, Arkansas. Martin was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
