Plenty on display at fair
PRESCOTT – While the agricultural entries are down this year, due to a wet early summer, the art categories were larger than ever.
The unusual weather conditions that lasted through half of July made things rough on area farmers. Because there was so much rain, the watermelon crop was questionable. However, things went back to normal in August with the temperatures climbing and staying well above 90, which helped some row crops.
As far as the art exhibits, this year’s county fair has as many, if not more, entries than ever.
