HOPE – A food safety course is being offered by the Hempstead County Extension Service at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope on Nov. 4-5.

The course will be at Hempstead Hall in the Fulton Suite. The classes will begin at 8:30 a.m. and run through 3:30 p.m. with an exam Tuesday, Nov. 5.

The cost is:

A – ServSafe Manager’s course, book and exam – $115

B – ServSave Manager’s book and exam (no course instruction) $110

C – ServSafe Manager’s proctored exam (recertification and retakes) $40

D – ServSave Food Handler’s course, book and exam – $15

Once books are distributed and purchased there will be no refunds. Books are available in English, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese. It is suggested to pick up books early to study in advance of the class.
