PRESCOTT – Thursday’s community coffee was hosted by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).

The crowd was told the U.S. Constitution was signed 232 years ago, with copies available to everyone present. In 2004 a law was passed requiring all educational institutions receiving federal money to have a class on the Constitution.

The Benjamin Culp Chapter of the DAR went to area schools, telling students about the Constitution and giving students a copy.
