Hope police make several arrests on various charges
HOPE – On October 1, at approximately 12:11am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Edward Phillips, 43, of Hope, and charged him with breaking or entering into a structure and theft of property. The arrest was made in the 300 block of South Washington Street in Hope. Phillips was brought to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On October 1, at approximately 5:20pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Keyeon Smith, 18, of Hope, and charged him with domestic Battery in the 3rd degree. The arrest was made in the 300 block of South Washington Street in Hope. Smith was brought to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On October 5, at approximately 12:20am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Brittany Robinson, 30, of Hope, and charged her with aggravated assault and served her with a failure to appear warrant. The arrest was made in the 600 block of West 3rd Street Washington Street in Hope. Robinson was brought to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
On October 5, at approximately 11:45am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Laura Harrison, 43, of Hope, and Davion Boss, 22, of Lewisville, AR. Harrison was charged with possession of a controlled substance –methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance –marijuana. Boss was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and served with a foreign warrant. The arrest occurred in the 1600 block of Springhill Drive in Hope. Harrison and Boss were both transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first
appearance.
