PRESCOTT – Saturday will be a day full of fun as the annual Fall Festival and Trade Days is set from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The day kicks off with a 5K run/walk at 8 a.m. beside the Nevada County Courthouse.

At 9:30 a.m. the first clue for the golden pumpkin will be given. This will be followed by the basketball shoot out at 10 a.m. The Lil’ Firecracker Freedom Kids Run will be held at 11 a.m. Bunco also begins at this time.

Noon will see the first responders waterball contest. Those attending need to remember to stay back or they could get soaked. This is a fun event and those participating will need blankets afterwards as it’s supposed to be a chilly day with the high reaching 67 degrees.

South Down Main takes center stage at 1 p.m. with the pie eating contest scheduled for 2:30 and the winner of the cutest baby and raffles announced. The winner of one raffle will go home with a 50-inch smart TV, perfect for watching sports and movies.

In addition, there will be around 90 vendor booths for people to check out, offering a little something for pretty much everyone. There will also be train rides for the youngsters along with inflatable houses.
