Hope Bobcats fall to Hot Springs Lakeside Rams

The game started with Bobcats kicking off to Hot Springs Lakeside Rams and the Rams took it the distance and was able to get the first touchdown of the game followed with a fake extra point  that was no good. The next kickoff went to Bobcats and was caught but fumbled and recovered by the Rams who ran it back for a touchdown. They went for a two point conversion and were stopped by the Bobcats. Bobcats recover next kickoff drive it some and then a pass interference call on third down gave the Bobcats a first down and on fourth down short distance Jarod Hamilton gained 13.5 yards and a pass to Davian Durden who breaks serval tackles making a touchdown for the Bobcats. Rams were able to score again and cats took their next possession with an interception then a series of five fumbles and 2 in interceptions most of which were a scoop and score for the Rams. The Bobcat defense played solid during the second quarter and Rams only scored 3 times on offense. Special teams plays and turnovers and early running game that had been adjusted by the Rams caused a 45-6 lead at the half.  Coming back from the half the Bobcats were mercy ruled causing the clock to continue running. The Bobcats took possession of the ball after kickoff at the 34 yard line. With small gains and a screen play the Bobcats punted to the Rams. A face mask call was made against the Bobcats putting the Rams at the thirteen yard line, their quarterback had a great mobile play and was able to make a pass to a player in the end zone for a touchdown.With small running gains through the remainder of the game and good defense tackles and stops by the Bobcats kept the Rams from putting more points on the board during the fourth quarter ending the game with the final score of 58-6.
