Civil War Weekend
By Mark Keith, 11/3/19 11:05 PMThe cool, crisp Autumn weather on Saturday and Sunday meant a good turn out for Historic Washington State Park’s annual Civil War Weekend. A large number of those portraying soldiers were on hand to reenact Civil War battles and skirmishes. April Thaxton is shown in the print shop while the soldier in the single shot is Prescott’s Paul Ridgell. We’re not sure who won this time but we do know the annual event brings out hundreds to see history reenacted in a community that was very important during the Civil War.
