Man Dies in Weekend House Fire

A Saturday night house fire in Hope resulted in the death of a 65 year old man.  According to a spokesperson with the Hope Fire Department, firemen were called 908 Henry C. Yerger at 11:36pm to find the house fully engulfed.  Firemen were on the scene about 3 and a half hours.  The fire resulted in the death of 65 year old Larry Monk.  The fire is still under investigation and a cause has not been determined although it appears there was no foul play involved.
