Benefit chili/soup supper for Debbie Prince-Brantley set
DELIGHT – A benefit chili/soup supper and auction has been scheduled for Debbie Prince-Brantley on Nov. 16 at the Delight High School cafeteria.
The supper will be from 4-8 p.m.
In addition, a raffle will be held with the winner taking home a limited edition Marlin 30/30 rifle and a Tanfoglio .22 caliber pistol. Both weapons were donated and are in new conditions. Tickets are $20, for both guns. Drawing for the guns will be held before Christmas.
To purchase a ticket, call Theresa House at 870-681-2560 or Sandra Prince Finney at 870-379-2169.
Last year Brantley was diagnosed with NASH liver disease. She has been battling this disease and been unable to work. In Sept. 2019, she was placed on the liver transplant list at Willis-Knighton MC in Shreveport, LA. A new liver is needed as Brantley has lost all function of her current liver.
All proceeds from the supper and raffle will be donated to Brantley to help with her medical expenses, along with transportation to and from the hospital in Shreveport.
