Night one of Mingle and Jingle a big success
PRESCOTT – Night one of the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce’s Mingle and Jingle was a success.
The Stokes Center at Central Baptist Church was filled with local businesses showing off their wares and what’s available locally for the holiday season (which is upon us already). More than 110 people went through in the first hour of the event, which began at 5 p.m.
Patrons were given a card and told to get it stamped by each vendor. Once the card was filled up, the people’s names were put into a hamper for a drawing with a cash prize.
There was a little something for pretty much everyone on display. People could browse, snack on Mexican food, hot chocolate or soft drinks while listening to traditional Christmas carols being played in the background.
Few went home empty-handed as the merchants were able to move their products. Mingle and Jingle continues Friday night with the doors to the Stokes Center opening at 5 p.m. The event will end at 7:30.
