One contested race for upcoming primaries
PRESCOTT – There is only one contested race for the March primaries.
Colby Tillman and Justin Peterson are both running to be constable of the Missouri Township. Otherwise, all races for constable the city and county offices are unopposed.
Ryan McBrayer will be the constable for the Emmet Township, while Micah Stockton will handle those duties for Albany.
For Justice of the Peace on the Nevada County Quorum Court, Dennis Pruitt will continue representing District 1. Willie Wilson remains in District 2 with Pat Grimes in District 3. Curtis Lee Johnson remains in District 4, with Bob Cummins in District 5 and Herbert Coleman for District 6. Kenneth Bailey will keep representing District 7, while Christ Fore will do the same in District 8, and Brenda Stockton in District 9.
For the Prescott City Council, Satarra Williams will represent Ward 1 Position 1, with Ivory Curry in Ward 1 P2. Howard Austin remains in W2P1, with Carolyn Todd in W2P2. Jerry Hightower stays in W3P1, with Carla Christopher in W3P2. Susie Meeks will be the councilman for W4P1, with Patricia Roberts in W4P2.
