Ribbon cut for Tiffany Cagle Boutique Thursday
PRESCOTT – What began at the family kitchen table is now a business in Prescott.
Thursday morning ribbon cutting ceremonies were held for the Tiffany Cagle Boutigue on E. 2nd St.
Cagle started the business in January at her kitchen table, moved it to the Barkin’ Barn when it grew too large for the table, but decided she wanted a more intimate setting for her business and moved to the location on E. 2nd St.
Cagle is a licensed counselor and says she uses her counseling skills daily with the business to help women pick the best products for themselves. The business is basically for woman and babies, though the selection for infants is limited. The shelves are stocked with bags, clothes and scarves.
Jamie Hillery, executive director of the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce, said small businesses like this make a huge impact in the community. She urged everyone to visit the store and see what’s being offered.
Prescott Mayor Terry Oliver said Calge has invested money in the community by starting a business and offers products ladies in the area have been wanting. Now, he said, they don’t have to shop on line or go elsewhere, but can come to the store, try the clothes on and see how they look.
Cagle called this a “dream come true” and said she’s grateful for the support she’s received from the community so far.
