HPD makes three arrests

HOPE – On November 18, 2019, at approximately 6:30pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Randy F. Blanchett, 50, of Hope, Arkansas and charged him with driving while intoxicated –felony, fail to register vehicle, no headlights, and driving on suspended for DWI.  The arrest occurred in the 500 block of West Avenue A Street, in Hope.  Blanchett was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On November 19, 2019, at approximately 4:20pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Ricky D. Stuart, 43, of Hope, Arkansas and charged him with possession of controlled substance –methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to appear.  The arrest occurred in the 500 block of West Avenue A, in Hope.  Stuart was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

On November 22, 2019, at approximately 10pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested a seventeen year old male, of Hope, Arkansas and charged him with possession with purpose to deliver –methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance -cocaine, possession of a controlled substance –marijuana, possession of controlled substance –prescription drugs, and driving while intoxicated. The arrest occurred in the 600 block of Pond Street, in Hope.  The juvenile was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and later released to his parent.
