Thanksgiving Reader

On the cusp of the Thanksgiving holiday, students in Brandy Frohnappel’s third grade class at Clinton Primary School hosted a community reader Nov. 22.  Na’Tashia Riley Davis from Hope Water and Light Corp. read “A Turkey for Thanksgiving” to the class. Community readers volunteer to read to classes at Clinton Primary School through the Early Literacy Initiative of the Hope Public Schools. Anyone who desires to offer their time as a reader may participate by contacting Ken McLemore at ken.mclemore@hpsdistrict.org online or at 501-519-0530 during school hours. Community readers typically read to CPS classes each Friday during the academic year, and books are typically provided by each teacher. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools
