Few thefts at Chamber’s Dirty Santa game
PRESCOTT – Wednesday saw the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce host its annual Christmas party at the Nevada County Library.
Jamie Hillery, Chamber director, said the meal and decorations were from Chamber members. The meat was prepared by Lotta Bull BBQ, while the sides came from Hwy. 67 Gas and Grill. The dessert came from Ko-Fields, while the centerpieces were designed by Charlotte Rose.
After the meal, tradition was again followed with a game of Dirty Santa. There have been years when theft ran rampant as members preferred taking gifts others had picked instead of picking themselves. For the most part, though, this year’s game was mild with few thefts. One notable exception was the two gifts containing cash, which were taken quickly by others.
Everyone had fun and no one went home empty handed.
