Doyle Ferguson

TSGT Aircraft Load Master, Franklin “Doyle” Ferguson, 84, of Prescott, Arkansas went to be with our Lord, Saturday, December 14, 2019. He was born December 23, 1934 in Emmet, Arkansas to Johnie and Carrie Ferguson. He served in the Air Force for over 20 year and served most of his time in Vietnam where he made memories with Bob Hope and Neil Armstrong. Later in his life he was a farmer, a security guard for Potlatch in Prescott, and worked at the Nevada County Sheriff’s Department, where he met a coworker, Ms. Judy Gregory, that became the love of his life. He is preceded in death his parents, two brothers, Carroll and Billy, and a sister Georgia Alene (Ferguson) Hill.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Gregory Ferguson, six children, Christopher Ferguson (Isabel) of Hope, AR, Nicholas Ferguson of NC, Theresa Neely (Jeff) of Arkadelphia, AR, Randy Ferguson (Billie) of Hope, AR, Jeff Gregory (Naomi) of Dallas, TX, Cindy Gregory Taylor (Greg) of Illinois, one sister, Ruth Ann Cook (Mike) of Mt. Vernon, AR, twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives. Special recognition to a niece, Dani Wenneberg and her husband Ross, for all the assistance they have provided  for Doyle and Judy.  

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, December 19, 2019 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main St. Hope, Arkansas 71801.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Friday, December 20, 2019 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cross officiating. Burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
