Sammy Dyer

Sammy Dean Dyer was born on Friday, December 6, 1946 in Hope, Arkansas to Willie Roy and Alice Marie Dyer. Sammy loved watching westerns, drinking coffee and listening to Elvis Presley. For over 30 years, Sammy drove trucks for most of his career. He drove for Jim Langston until he was unable to drive any longer. He passed away at age 73 and was a resident of Blevins, AR.  Sammy will remain in our hearts forever.  

He was preceded in death by his father Willie Roy Dyer, and his brother Clarence Dyer. 

Sammy leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Marie Dyer, daughters; Evelyn (Bo) Murphy, Jacqueline (Bobby) Bennings, Sonja (Roland) Burke, grandchildren; Delta (Dalin Mills) Bradford, Scott (Stachia) Bennings, Bradley Bennings, Trey Baker, Travis Baker, Lillyann Murphy, Abigail Murphy, great-grandchild, Ruby Bennings, brothers; Willie Dyer and Jimmy Dan Dyer, sisters; Alice Faye Biddle, Melba Kaye Edwards and Mary Stevens, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11:00 am. @ Union Grove Baptist Church | 2353 Hempstead Road 16, Blevins, AR 71825. *Visitation one hour prior to service.  Interment: Union Grove Cemetery | Blevins, AR
