Cristell Holmes

Cristell Holmes was born on Tuesday, August 4, 1931 to the late Lucille Banks and Forrest Love in Junction City, Louisiana. She gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a member of Greater St. Paul Baptist Church in Emmett, Arkansas where Rev. John Fort is Pastor.
As Cristell grew up, she loved everyone and was loved by anyone she came in contact with. She also started working at an early age. After the passing of her one and only sister, Mary Jane, she took on the role of the mother figure to her nieces and nephew (Mary, Stephanie, Karen and Carl).
Cristell was a resident of Emmett, AR for most of her life and she passed away at the age of 88. She will always be in our hearts.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Holmes, daughter, Vernastell Holmes, sister, Mary Jane Stuart, six brothers; Adolph Love, Joseph Love, Robert Love, Will Love, Henry Love and Proctor Love.
She leaves to cherish her memories, nieces; Mary (James) Holston, Stephanie (Antonio) Cole, Karen (Patrick) Foy, nephew, Carl (Patsy) Williamson, special aunts; Ruby Banks and Ellean Banks, sister-in-laws; Marva Love and Lois Love, and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Public visitation will be Friday, January 3, 2020 @ 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. @ McFadden & Hitchye Funeral Enterprises | 411 S. Walnut St., Hope, AR
Homegoing services will be Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 11:00 am. @ Greater St. Paul Baptist Church, Emmet, AR. Rev. John Fort, Pastor/Eulogist
Interment – Snell Cemetery, Emmet AR
