On December 29, 2019, at approximately 8:15pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Terry L Peterson, 21, of Prescott, Arkansas and charged him with aggravated cruelty to animals, domestic battery 3^rd degree, and theft of property.  The arrest occurred in the 500 block of South Hervey Street, in Hope.  Peterson was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
