Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Seeking Nominations for Business of the Year

The Hope Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for 2020 Business of the Year! Forms can be found at the Chamber office, located at 201 South Main Street in Downtown Hope.

The nominee for Business of the Year should demonstrate excellence in one or more of the following:

Exceptional growth through additional creation of jobs, expansion of facilities or increased revenue
Created a new dimension to the existing business
Business focuses on purchasing good and services locally where possible
Business owner(s) or upper management has an excellent working relationship with their employees
Business with a reputation for integrity and exemplary customer service in the community
Business, its owners, and/or its employee(s) participate, support and/or volunteer in community activities
Had a positive influence and impact on the area business community

Deadline to submit for is Friday, March 6, 2020.

The winners of citizen of the year, business of the year, educator of the year, and non-profit organization of the year will be announced at the Annual Chamber Meeting and Banquet on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Hempstead Hall 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
