Audrea Denise Booker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Audrea Denise Booker, 29 of Hot Springs, Arkansas, on Tuesday February 4, 2020. She was born in Hope, Arkansas, on June 30, 1990, to loving parents, Anthonnio Riley and Audrey Denise Booker.


Audrea grew up between the two cities of Malvern, Arkansas and Hot springs Arkansas. She confessed her love for Christ at an early age while attending First Baptist Rockport Church in Malvern, under the leadership of Dr. James Nathaniel McCollum. She was a 2008 graduate of Hot Springs High School.


Audrea was a very happy and outgoing person. Audrea liked to spend time with her family and friends. She loved her baby girl, Kaliyah, her special name for her was “Moo-Moo”. Audrea enjoyed listening to music, dancing, playing cards and living life to the fullest. She greeted everyone with a smile, that could light up the room. She was always the life of the party and her presence was like a breath of fresh air. She took pride in looking fabulous and was always on fleek. Her beautiful personality and good work ethics are what led to her being promoted to a manager at Dairy Queen. Audrea touched a lot of lives and she will truly be missed by many.


Audrea was preceded in death by her brother, D’Angelo Nero; her paternal grandmother, Aretha Mae Riley; maternal grandparents, Clara Mae Booker and Joe Anthony Rico.


She will be loved, missed and remembered by her mother, Audrey Booker and father, Anthonnio Riley both of Hot Springs; daughter, Kaliyah Gulley; Kaliyah’s grandmother, Angela Lee both of Maumelle, Arkansas; siblings: Brittany Booker (Terrance), Devin Booker (Octavia), Alex Nero, Isis Nero, Kamisha Nero all of Hot Springs, Tamaira Wood (Chris) of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Jocelynn Nero of Hot Springs, Anthonnio Riley, Matthew Gordon of Conway, Arkansas, NikeaNero, Isaiah Riley, Jakeylin Riley, Janiyah Riley all of Hot Springs; grandfather, Bobby Riley Sr.; aunts: Conswella Riley, Bobby Riley, Allen Riley, Tyra Alexander, Barbara Walker; cousins: Gabrielle Watson of Hot Springs, Montrell Turney of Nashville, Ar., Nikki Anderson, Derek Swift, Tim Anderson all of Hot Springs, Ebony Thompson of Nashville, Arkansas; best friends Stephanie Knox and Khadijah Safee Ullah both of Hot Springs and a host of other relatives and friends.


There will be a celebration of Audrea’s life at 11:00am on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Historic Eureka Missionary Baptist Church, where Dr. Steve R. Lake Sr. is pastor. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00pm, on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at New Walter’s A.M.E. Zion Church, where Rev. Anthony Nero is pastor. Her earthly body will be laid to rest at Friendship Cemetery in Hot Springs. Dinner will be served at New Walter’s A.M.E. Zion Church on Thursday, immediately following the committal service.


Audrea’s family is receiving friends at 820 6th Street, in Hot Springs.
