Kiwanis Club Hears From The Daniels of Miracle Farms

The Hope Kiwanis Club recently welcomed Sunny and Jack Daniels from Miracle Farms in Bodcaw. Jack Daniels explained that the 200 acres they farm at Bodcaw has been in his family for many years. Daniels said they raise grass-fed beef, grass-fed lamb, pasture-raised poultry, free-range eggs, and raw Jersey milk. He also noted they raise all kinds of fresh vegetables too. He noted they have their meat processed at a USDA packing plant where it is aged and flash frozen. The market is open May through November on Saturdays and they’re also open during the winter by appointment. He explained their farm tours and even had some pictures of two Norwegian groups. Daniels also talked about their “Farm Family Fun Days” in October where they feature hay rides, a pumpkin patch, a corn maze, and other activities. The Daniels will also have a musical program with the Quebe Sisters April 24th at 7pm at Miracle Farms with tickets on iTickets. Daniels says “anything we can do to be a presence in our community and show a positive light on farming and farm families…and be educational to our children, we’re glad to be part of”. He noted they are also plan to return to the Hope Farmers Market this year.
