Crawfish boil May 14

PRESCOTT – The Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce’s crawfish boil has become a popular event.

This year, the sixth boil will be held from 4-7 p.m. on May 14 at the Farmer’s Market. As always mudbug lovers can either eat there or take their catch home. For the second year, the boil will be offering boiled and peeled shrimp for $22 a pound plate. Mudbugs will be $10 for a small plate, or 1.5 pounds, or $20 for a large plate, or 3 pounds.

The Chamber is also ordering t-shirts for the boil. Sizes small to XL will be $15, while XXL and larger will be $17. For more information or to order a shirt, call the Chamber at 870-887-2101.
