Jerrel Byrom

Mr. Jerrel Hudie Byrom age 77 of Hope, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at his residence. He was born December 4, 1942 in Hope, Arkansas to Hudie and Ruth Sinyard Byrom. Jerrel was a cabinet builder and went on later to become a catastrophe insurance adjuster where he was well respected by his peers. He retired from the industry in 2013. Jerrel was known for smoking cigars, his huge smile, and his love for life. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Doris Kidd.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Jamie Howell, two sons, Larkin Byrom of Greenville, TX, Matt Byrom (Jennifer) of Nash, TX, two grandchildren, Katelyn and Elizabeth Byrom of Texarkana, TX, extended family along with life long friend, Dan Helms (Rowena), the gang at Madlock’s Body Shop, and a host of relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 2222 Cottondale Ln #310 Little Rock, AR 72202 or Arkansas Children’s Hospital Hem/Onc Department 1 Children’s Way Little Rock, AR 72202.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, Saturday, March 14, 2020 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home 1001 South Main St. Hope, Arkansas 71801.

Memorial service will be 2:00pm, Saturday, March 14, 2020 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Bro. Neal Ridling officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date.
