BlueJays win Class A State title

HOT SPRINGS – In a rematch of the 2019 Class A State Basketball Finals, the Nevada BlueJays tangled with Izzard County.

Last year Izzard County  won, this year the tables were turned and the Jays pulled off a 48-47 win at the Hot Springs Convention Center Thursday afternoon.

Rosston Mayor Dale Quarles, at the March meeting of the Rosston City Council Monday night, said the city would honor the team regardless of the outcome. Now, Rosston has cause to celebrate a state title.
