Kelly Rigney

Kelly Angelee Massey Rigney, age 51 of Malvern joined our Heavenly Father Sunday, March 22nd, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Hot Springs, according to her family.  Kelly was born on July 18th, 1968 to Raymond and Bennie Sue Massey in Newport, AR.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Michael Kevin Rigney Sr., and sons, Michael Kevin Jr. and Kristopher Derik; her parents, Raymond and Bennie Sue Massey of Hot Springs; her brothers, Raymond Keith Jr. and Debbie Massey of Hope, Kyle William and Kerry Massey of North Little Rock and Kevin Benjamin and Suzanne Massey of Conway; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was a retired teacher of 18 years at Spring Hill High School in Hempstead County and a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Spring Hill. She often attended Diamondhead Community Church in Hot Springs.

Mrs. Rigney graduated from Perryville High School before earning her bachelor’s degree from University of Central Arkansas in 1991 with a major in English. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and working with Autism Speaks.
