PRESCOTT – On March 25, agents with the 8th North Task Force, assisted by members of the Prescott Police Department and Nevada County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at 692 Bryant St. Prescott. During the execution of the search warrant, approximately six (6) grams of Tramadol, approximately thirty-two (32) grams of Methamphetamine and several clear plastic bags were discovered.

A local resident, David Railey, was arrested and held for charges of possession of methamphetamine with the purpose to deliver and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. The search warrant was a result of a lengthy narcotic investigation, with plans of more to come in the near future.

The PPD would like to inform the public that even though there is a nationwide pandemic among us, the PPD will not tolerate illegal activity and will continue to protect and serve the community by actively pursuing narcotic violators.
